About Wesley Learning & Development

The Learning & Development team is part of Wesley People & Culture. We provide orientation and education programs for staff, volunteers and managers. It is our team’s mission to support people at Wesley Mission adapt to Wesley Mission’s culture and systems when they begin their journey and when changes occur.

Who we’re looking for

You are someone who is well organised and have strong administrative skills. You also like working with data and preparing reports.

Your organisational skills will also be useful for preparing and packing materials for staff onboarding events.

You have a curious mind that enjoys improving processes and making the most of information systems.

You enjoy working with a wider team of ‘People & Culture’ professionals in organisational development, human resources, health, safety and wellbeing.

You are able to work on site for the 6 month probationary period.

Selection criteria:

Essential:

  • Intermediate Microsoft Office Excel skills
  • Efficiently navigate multiple platforms – e.g. booking systems, HR systems, information and communication systems
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills in Word and Outlook
  • Typing speed of 40 wpm

Desirable skills/knowledge and qualifications:

  • Experience working in a not-for-profit or community service organisation
  • Certificate in Business Administration
  • Reporting tools and data analytics (e.g. PowerBI, MS Forms)
  • Excel tools: lookups, pivot tables, advance formulas and functions to enhance data reporting
  • Current drivers licence
