- Advertiser Terms & Policy (where relevant to Employers and Advertisers); and

In the event of any inconsistency between these User Terms and another policy or agreement, the document that specifically governs the relevant service will prevail to the extent of that inconsistency.
By accessing or using our websites or services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these User Terms.
2. Our Purpose
Christian Jobs Australia exists to connect Job Seekers with Christian, faith-based and values-aligned Employers throughout Australia by providing an online employment marketplace.
We also provide services including:
- publishing employment opportunities;
- Employer Profiles and organisation information;
- Job Seeker accounts and profiles;
- online job applications;
- job alerts and email notifications;
- employment-related articles, guides and career resources;
- recruitment and advertising support for Employers;
- newsletters and other employment communications;
- search and matching functionality to assist Job Seekers in finding relevant opportunities;
- promotion of employment opportunities across websites and services operated by Christian Jobs Pty Ltd, including ChristianJobs.com.au and ChristianCareers.com.au; and
- other employment, recruitment and career-related services offered by Christian Jobs Pty Ltd from time to time.
Christian Jobs Australia provides an employment marketplace to facilitate connections between Employers and Job Seekers. Unless expressly stated otherwise, Christian Jobs Pty Ltd does not act as an employment agency, labour hire provider or recruitment consultant, and does not make recruitment or employment decisions on behalf of Employers.
3. Eligibility
To use our websites and services, you must:
- be at least 16 years of age, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian where required by law;
- have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement;
- provide accurate, current and complete information when creating an account or using our services;
- keep your account information up to date; and
- comply with these User Terms and all applicable laws.
If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for taking reasonable steps to prevent unauthorised access to your account.

- attempt to gain unauthorised access to another user's account or our systems; or
- use your account in any way that may interfere with the operation, security or integrity of our websites or services.
Christian Jobs Pty Ltd may suspend, restrict or terminate your account where we reasonably believe it has been used in breach of these User Terms or in a manner that is unlawful, fraudulent or likely to adversely affect our services or other users.
5. Your Profile
Your profile should accurately represent your:
- identity and contact information;
- employment history;
- education and qualifications;
- licences, registrations and certifications;
- skills, experience and competencies;
- professional memberships;
- availability and employment preferences;
- referees (where provided); and
- any other information you choose to include in your profile or résumé.
You are responsible for ensuring that the information contained in your profile remains accurate, current and complete.
You must not:
- provide false, misleading or deceptive information;
- impersonate another person;
- submit fraudulent qualifications, licences or certifications;
- misrepresent your employment history, experience or skills;
- upload or use a résumé that belongs to another person without their authority;
- include content that is unlawful, defamatory, offensive, discriminatory or infringes another person's intellectual property or privacy rights;
- provide referee details without first obtaining the referee's permission where required by law; or
- use your profile for any purpose unrelated to seeking employment or career opportunities through our services.
Employers rely on the accuracy of the information you provide when assessing applications. Christian Jobs Pty Ltd does not verify the accuracy of information contained in Job Seeker profiles and accepts no responsibility for any loss arising from inaccurate or misleading information provided by users.
6. Applying for Jobs
When you apply for a position through our websites or services, you acknowledge and agree that:
- each Employer is solely responsible for its own recruitment process and employment decisions;
- Christian Jobs Pty Ltd does not guarantee that an Employer will review, acknowledge or respond to your application;
- submitting an application does not guarantee an interview, offer of employment or any other recruitment outcome;
- Employers may amend, suspend, withdraw or close vacancies at any time without notice;
- Employers are responsible for determining the suitability of applicants and verifying any information provided by candidates;
- Christian Jobs Pty Ltd is not responsible for the content of job advertisements or the recruitment practices of individual Employers; and
- any employment relationship that results from an application is solely between the Employer and the successful applicant.
Some Employers may require applicants to:
- complete an online application form;
- answer selection criteria or screening questions;
- provide a résumé and cover letter;
- provide evidence of qualifications, licences or registrations;
- provide referee details or references;
- undertake police, Working with Children, Working with Vulnerable People or other background checks;
- participate in interviews, assessments or pre-employment testing;
- provide evidence of the right to work in Australia;
- provide information relating to genuine occupational or faith-based requirements where permitted by law; or
- comply with other lawful recruitment requirements determined by the Employer.
It is your responsibility to carefully read each advertisement and comply with the Employer's stated application requirements.
Christian Jobs Pty Ltd is not responsible for any loss arising from an Employer's recruitment process, employment decisions or failure to respond to an application.
7. Christian Employers
Many organisations advertising through Christian Jobs Australia are Christian churches, schools, charities, aged care providers, not-for-profit organisations or other employers whose mission, values or activities are informed by the Christian faith.
While many positions are open to applicants of all backgrounds, some Employers may lawfully seek applicants who support, share or are able to work consistently with the organisation's Christian mission, values or beliefs.
Depending on the nature of the position and the applicable law, some positions may require applicants to:
- demonstrate an understanding of, or commitment to, the Employer's Christian mission or values;
- provide a statement of Christian faith or personal faith journey;
- demonstrate active involvement in a Christian church or faith community;
- agree to uphold the Employer's statement of faith, code of conduct or behavioural standards;
- hold theological or ministry qualifications;
- meet other genuine occupational or inherent requirements permitted by law.
Any faith-based or other employment requirements are determined solely by the Employer.
Christian Jobs Pty Ltd does not determine, verify or warrant the lawfulness, appropriateness or necessity of any employment requirement specified by an Employer. Employers are responsible for ensuring that their recruitment practices comply with all applicable employment, anti-discrimination and other relevant legislation.
Job Seekers are encouraged to carefully read each advertisement and consider whether they meet the stated requirements before submitting an application.
8. Using Our Website
You agree to use our websites and services lawfully, responsibly and in accordance with these User Terms.
You must not:
- use our websites or services for any unlawful, fraudulent or unauthorised purpose;
- interfere with, disrupt or attempt to compromise the operation, security or integrity of our websites, systems or networks;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to any account, data, computer system or network associated with Christian Jobs Pty Ltd;
- upload, transmit or distribute viruses, malware or other malicious code;
- use automated systems, bots, scripts, crawlers or scraping tools to access, copy, harvest or extract data from our websites without our prior written consent;
- copy, reproduce, republish or distribute job advertisements, Employer Profiles, articles, images or other content from our websites except as permitted by law or with our prior written consent;
- harvest or collect personal information about Employers, Job Seekers or other users without their consent;
- submit spam, unsolicited communications or other material unrelated to genuine employment or recruitment activities;
- use our websites in a manner that could impair the experience of other users or adversely affect the operation of our services;
- attempt to circumvent any security measures, access controls or technical restrictions implemented by Christian Jobs Pty Ltd; or
- use our websites or services in any manner that is inconsistent with their purpose as an employment and recruitment marketplace.
Christian Jobs Pty Ltd reserves the right to investigate suspected misuse of its websites or services and may suspend, restrict or terminate access where we reasonably believe these User Terms have been breached.
9. Website Content
The information published on our websites is provided for general employment, recruitment and career-related purposes.
While Christian Jobs Pty Ltd takes reasonable care in operating its websites and services, we cannot guarantee that every:

- Employer Profile;

Much of the content published on our websites is supplied by Employers or other third parties. Christian Jobs Pty Ltd does not independently verify the accuracy or completeness of that information unless expressly stated.
Job Seekers should independently assess and verify the suitability and accuracy of any employment opportunity before making career, financial or other employment-related decisions.
Nothing published on our websites constitutes legal, financial, taxation, employment, migration or professional advice, and users should obtain independent professional advice where appropriate.
10. Job Advertisements
Christian Jobs Pty Ltd publishes job advertisements submitted by Employers using our websites and services.
While we review advertisements to help maintain publishing standards and may make reasonable editorial changes in accordance with our Advertiser Terms & Policy, we do not guarantee:
- that every advertised position remains available;
- that every advertisement is complete, accurate or current;
- that salary, remuneration or benefits information (where provided) remains current;
- that an Employer will recruit for a particular position;
- that an Employer will respond to applications or enquiries;
- that an Employer will interview or employ any particular applicant;
- that every vacancy complies with a Job Seeker's expectations or requirements; or
- that advertisements will remain available for any particular period beyond the applicable advertising terms.
Employers remain solely responsible for:
- the content of their advertisements;
- the accuracy of information provided in their advertisements;
- their recruitment processes and employment decisions;
- complying with applicable employment, anti-discrimination, privacy and workplace laws; and
- ensuring that the positions they advertise represent genuine employment opportunities.
Christian Jobs Pty Ltd is not a party to any employment relationship formed between an Employer and a Job Seeker.
11. Employer Profiles
Christian Jobs Pty Ltd may provide Employers with the ability to create and maintain an Employer Profile to help Job Seekers learn more about their organisation and employment opportunities.
Employer Profiles may contain:
- the Employer's name and logo;
- organisation descriptions and history;
- mission, vision and values;
- statements of faith or organisational beliefs (where applicable);
- photographs, videos and other promotional media;
- workplace culture and employee benefits;
- organisation locations and contact details;
- links to the Employer's website, careers page or social media accounts;
- current and future employment opportunities; and
- other information provided by the Employer for recruitment purposes.
Employer Profiles are created from information supplied by the Employer. While Christian Jobs Pty Ltd may make reasonable editorial changes to improve presentation, readability and consistency, we do not independently verify the accuracy or completeness of Employer Profile content.
Employer Profiles may be displayed, promoted or linked across websites and services operated by Christian Jobs Pty Ltd, including ChristianJobs.com.au and ChristianCareers.com.au, where this forms part of the services provided.
Job Seekers should independently assess the suitability of an Employer and any employment opportunity before applying for a position.
12. Career Resources
Christian Jobs Pty Ltd may publish articles, blogs, newsletters, podcasts, videos, webinars, guides and other career or employment-related resources through its websites and services.
These resources are provided for general information and educational purposes only.
They should not be relied upon as:
- legal advice;
- employment law advice;
- human resources advice;
- financial or taxation advice;
- investment advice;
- migration or visa advice;
- professional recruitment or career counselling services;
- medical or psychological advice; or

You may unsubscribe from marketing and promotional communications at any time by:

Users must not:
- engage in abusive, threatening, harassing or intimidating behaviour;
- publish or transmit defamatory, offensive, discriminatory, hateful or obscene material;
- knowingly provide false or misleading information;
- impersonate another person or organisation;
- use our websites or services to harass, stalk or intimidate another person;
- interfere with another person's use or enjoyment of our websites or services;
- misuse personal information obtained through our websites;
- use our websites or services for unlawful, fraudulent or malicious purposes; or

Job advertisements, Employer Profiles and other material supplied by Employers remain the responsibility of the relevant Employer. By submitting such material for publication, the Employer warrants that it has the necessary rights to publish that content and grants Christian Jobs Pty Ltd a non-exclusive licence to publish, reproduce, edit, promote and distribute that content as necessary to provide its employment and recruitment services.
19. External Websites
Our websites may contain links to external websites or online services, including:
- Employer websites;
- Employer careers or employment pages;
- online application or applicant tracking systems;
- government websites and public authorities;
- training and education providers;
- professional associations;
- social media platforms;
- payment service providers;

Christian Jobs Pty Ltd is not responsible for:

- the privacy, security or data handling practices of third parties;

Users should independently assess every employment opportunity, Employer and recruitment process before applying for a position or accepting an offer of employment.
Christian Jobs Pty Ltd does not guarantee that any job advertisement, Employer Profile or other content will achieve a particular ranking, visibility or prominence in search engines, AI-powered search platforms or other online services.
21. Availability
Christian Jobs Pty Ltd endeavours to keep its websites and services available and operating efficiently at all times.
However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted, continuous or error-free access to our websites or services.
Services may be unavailable, delayed or interrupted due to:
- scheduled maintenance or upgrades;
- emergency maintenance;
- technical faults or software errors;
- hardware or infrastructure failures;
- internet or telecommunications outages;
- failures or interruptions affecting third-party service providers;

- recruitment decisions, employment offers or employment relationships between Employers and Job Seekers;
- any act or omission of an Employer, Job Seeker or other third party;
- the availability, quality or suitability of any advertised position;
- any loss resulting from reliance on information published on our websites or services;
- interruptions, delays or unavailability of our websites or services;
- technical faults, software errors, viruses or other harmful code not caused by our negligence;
- the content, availability or operation of third-party websites or services;
- any indirect, incidental, consequential, special or economic loss, including loss of income, business, profits, goodwill, opportunity or data; or
- any other loss or damage arising from the use of, or inability to use, our websites or services, except to the extent caused by our negligence or as otherwise required by law.
Nothing in these User Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), including the Australian Consumer Law.

- impersonated another person or organisation;
- used our websites or services for unlawful, fraudulent or malicious purposes;
- interfered with the operation, security or integrity of our websites or services;
- infringed the intellectual property or other rights of another person;
- engaged in abusive, threatening, discriminatory, harassing or other inappropriate conduct;
- submitted spam, malicious software or other harmful content;

- you have another genuine complaint relating to Christian Jobs Pty Ltd or our services,

We will acknowledge and investigate genuine complaints within a reasonable time and, where appropriate, take action consistent with these User Terms, our other published policies and our legal obligations.

Job Seekers should exercise appropriate caution when communicating with prospective Employers and throughout the recruitment process.
Christian Jobs Pty Ltd recommends that users:
- carefully review each Employer and employment opportunity before applying;
- independently verify important information about a position where appropriate;
- never pay money or provide financial information to secure employment unless you are satisfied the request is legitimate;
- be cautious when sharing sensitive personal information and only provide information reasonably necessary for the recruitment process;
- verify the identity of an Employer if anything appears unusual or suspicious;
- attend interviews in safe and appropriate locations, or exercise appropriate caution when participating in online interviews;
- be alert to phishing, scams and other fraudulent recruitment activity; and

While Christian Jobs Pty Ltd takes reasonable steps to maintain the integrity of its employment marketplace, we cannot guarantee the identity, legitimacy or conduct of every Employer, Job Seeker or other user of our websites and services.
If you believe a job advertisement, Employer or communication is fraudulent or suspicious, please notify Christian Jobs Pty Ltd immediately.
26. Governing Law
These User Terms are governed by and are to be construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia.
Each party irrevocably submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria and any courts competent to hear appeals from those courts.
If any provision of these User Terms is found to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
No failure or delay by Christian Jobs Pty Ltd in exercising any right under these User Terms constitutes a waiver of that right.
27. Definitions
Advertiser means an Employer or other organisation that purchases or uses advertising, recruitment or promotional services provided by Christian Jobs Pty Ltd.
Christian Jobs Australia means the employment and recruitment websites, services and brands operated by Christian Jobs Pty Ltd, including ChristianJobs.com.au and ChristianCareers.com.au.
Employer means an organisation, business, church, ministry, charity, school, not-for-profit organisation or other entity that advertises employment opportunities or uses recruitment services provided by Christian Jobs Pty Ltd.
Employer Profile means an organisation profile, company page or other information published by or on behalf of an Employer through our Websites or Services.
Job Advertisement means any employment opportunity, vacancy, internship, volunteer position or recruitment-related content published through our Websites or Services.
Job Seeker means any individual who accesses our Websites or Services to search for, enquire about or apply for employment, volunteer opportunities, internships or other career-related opportunities.
Profile means a Job Seeker account, résumé, employment history, qualifications, licences, skills, preferences or other information submitted by or on behalf of a User.
Services means the employment marketplace, websites, mobile applications, Employer Profiles, Job Advertisements, job alerts, newsletters, career resources, recruitment tools and all other products and services provided by Christian Jobs Pty Ltd from time to time.
User means any person who accesses, browses, registers with or otherwise uses our Websites or Services.
Website or Websites means ChristianJobs.com.au, ChristianCareers.com.au, and any other websites, mobile applications, digital platforms or online services operated by Christian Jobs Pty Ltd from time to time.
