We are a diverse, inclusive, intergenerational and intercultural congregation seeking to grow Christ-centred communities through worship, connection and service. This new role will help us strengthen our culture of mutual care and ensure that members, particularly those who are older, unwell, bereaved or experiencing significant life transitions, remain connected and spiritually supported.
The Pastoral Care Worker will:
Visit members in their homes, hospitals and residential care facilities.
Offer compassionate emotional and spiritual support.
Provide timely pastoral follow-up following hospitalisation, bereavement and other significant life events.
Work collaboratively with our Ministry Team Leader, Church Council and lay pastoral carers.
Support, encourage and equip volunteer pastoral carers.
