Seeking a compassionate and committed Christian to serve as our part-time Pastoral Care Worker.....
We are a diverse, inclusive, intergenerational and intercultural congregation seeking to grow Christ-centred communities through worship, connection and service. This new role will help us strengthen our culture of mutual care and ensure that members, particularly those who are older, unwell, bereaved or experiencing significant life transitions, remain connected and spiritually supported.
The Pastoral Care Worker will:
We are looking for someone with demonstrated experience in pastoral ministry, spiritual care, aged care or community development. The successful applicant will have a committed Christian faith, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, cultural sensitivity, and a willingness to work within the ethos, polity and policies of the Uniting Church in Australia.
The position is permanent part-time, approximately 15 hours per week, with flexibility in working hours required. It is based at Blacktown and involves travel within the local area.
The successful applicant will be required to hold a current driver’s licence, have the right to work in Australia, and have satisfactory Working with Children and relevant background checks.
