Job Overview
The Executive Administrator is a key leadership role providing vital administrative, fundraising, and event support to the Stable NQ Management Team and the 1,000+ volunteers who make Stable NQ possible. This role suits a proactive, team-oriented self-starter with strong leadership capability, high-level organisation, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, multicultural, and multi-generational environment.
At the heart of this role is a Fundraising Champion—the primary point of connection between Stable NQ and businesses, churches, community partners, and government. The Executive Administrator leads sponsorship development and grant writing, represents Stable NQ to government stakeholders, and builds strong relationships that enable the event to grow sustainably year after year.
This role also plays a critical part in event management, working closely with team leaders to plan, coordinate, and deliver a world-class community event. Alongside this, the Executive Administrator provides leadership in marketing and creative direction, including oversight of social media and digital communications, ensuring the Stable NQ story is shared clearly, creatively, and consistently across platforms.
A key focus of the role is volunteer support and engagement, helping recruit, equip, and care for the volunteers who bring Stable NQ to life, while also serving as a trusted church liaison, strengthening unity and collaboration across churches involved in the event.
More than administration, this role carries the heartbeat of Stable NQ: to serve the local community, strengthen families, support church unity, and celebrate the gift of Christmas. The Executive Administrator helps land vision with clarity, builds strong systems and teams, and supports growth that impacts the city of Townsville and the broader North Queensland region.
