Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who both clicks with, and has a passion for, people between the ages of approximately 12–30 years (ish).

We are not after a Program Manager or a Ministry Coordinator to just facilitate ministry activity or grow attendance. We are after someone who wants to help radically disciple and fight for the next generation in our region.

You will work within a staff culture that prides itself on empowerment and flexibility. We won't prescribe how you should approach this amazing opportunity, but rather provide the support and structure to help you grow, stretch, and lead out of your own unique gifting, personality, and vision.

As a result, we are open to applications from all kinds of Christian leaders and pastors… But here are a few non-negotiables:

• Someone who can influence and confidently lead youth, young adults, volunteers, and other leaders.
• Someone who is hungry to grow and be more like Jesus themselves.
• Someone who will fight for the ‘sheep’ in their care and not just be a ‘hired hand’.
• Someone who can speak and inspire people through their teaching and preaching.
• Someone who understands it’s the power of God working in and through them that brings about fruit—not their well-honed skills and gifts (although we value well-honed skills and gifts at CCW too!).
• Someone with theological training (completed, in progress, or willing to study).

We are not after just ''another' Next Gen Leader, nor is this a “junior role”. We are after an experienced leader who can lead teams, ministries, and maybe even their own congregation one day.

The Role

This is a full-time role; however, we are flexible with time fraction (and most things) for the right candidate.

You will be part of our executive leadership team, report directly to the Lead Pastor, and have direct reports of your own. This is an opportunity to contribute to the wider leadership and direction of CCW while leading and developing others in your area of ministry.

We are offering a very competitive salary and benefits commensurate with the applicant’s skills and experience, including possible support for interstate relocation.
