About the Role

We are a vibrant Pentecostal church community seeking a spirit filled coordinator to help shape meaningful, and well‑organised Sunday worship services. This role sits at the intersection of people, planning, and worship — supporting pastors to oversee worship team, services team and production teams to facilitate engaging and authentic Sunday experience.

The Services & Worship Coordinator oversees the flow, preparation, and execution of Sunday services. You will coordinate worship services, rehearsals, production teams, and service logistics, ensuring Sundays run smoothly and welcoming for newcomers and members alike.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both administration and creativity, thrives in team environments, and carries leadership and team building abilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate Sunday services
  • Coordinate and deliver key seasonal services, for example Easter, Christmas and special services.
  • Oversee Worship, Services (welcome, guest, hosts, salvation etc), and Production teams (sound, slides, livestream, lighting etc)
  • Prepare run sheets and ensure alignment across Worship, Services and Production teams
  • Lead pre‑service briefings and manage service flow, transitions, and timing
  • Support worship leaders and musicians through scheduling, communication, and rehearsal coordination
  • Maintain worship and production equipment and resources
  • Recruit, roster, and encourage volunteers across Worship, Services and Production teams

What You Bring

  • A mature Christian faith and alignment with our church’s Pentecostal theology and worship culture
  • A vibrant, growing relationship with Jesus that shapes your leadership
  • 5 years of ministry experience, ideally including hands‑on services and music leadership
  • Confidence as a Music Director, supported by strong musical foundations (theory, arrangements, lead sheets)
  • Musical literacy and familiarity with worship environments
  • Basic working knowledge of AV and Production systems
  • Experience coordinating teams, services, or worship environments
  • A proven track record of building, equipping, and growing volunteer teams
  • Clear, passionate communication and a collaborative, team‑centred approach
  • A servant‑hearted posture, resilient character, and the stamina to sustain excellence week after week

Hours & Availability

Full‑time (5 days / 38 hours per week), including Sunday on‑site presence and mid‑week planning, rehearsals, and communication.

  • Excellent organisation, communication, and coordination skills across worship, services, and production
  • Proven ability to recruit, equip, and grow volunteer teams with a collaborative, servant‑hearted approach
