Waverley Christian College is a forward thinking and culturally diverse Christian co-educational school from Kinder to Year 12. We have been providing students with a quality Christian educational experience for over 45 years. With campuses in Wantirna South and Narre Warren South, Waverley Christian College has an enrolment of over 2400 students with 400 staff across both campuses in 2026.

The Narre Warren South Campus is seeking a part-time (working 3 days, FTE 0.53) Primary General Assistant to commence immediately.

In this role, you will provide practical support to teachers, assisting with preparing classroom activities, school programs, and general administrative tasks. As a Primary General Assistant, you will assist teachers with student learning activities, help with classroom preparations, and contribute to the smooth running of school events and daily routines.

You are an ideal candidate if you:

  • Are highly motivated
  • Are reliable, organised, and able to manage tasks such as photocopying, laminating, creating displays, and preparing learning materials
  • Have good administrative and Microsoft Office 365 skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Have high level communication and interpersonal skills
  • Have excellent problem-solving skills
  • Enjoy working in a team environment
  • Are able to show a commitment to the values and ethos of Christian education
