About the Role:

  • Permanent Part-Time: 24 hours/week, with hours preferably set during MC business hours and spread over 4-5 days each week. This would be suitable for those on school hours.
  • Location: Based on-site at our Sydney campus (Macquarie Park, NSW).
  • Remuneration: $65,084/annum (full-time equivalent); pro-rated to $41,106/annum (excl. 12% Super and 17.5% AL loading) for 24 hours/week.
  • Preferred Start Date: As soon as possible.

As the Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Basic Moodle administration, including enrolling students, and assisting with preparation of resources and course modules.
  • Formatting of online study readings and resources to the standard template.
  • Providing basic (first-level) Moodle support to students.
  • Providing other administrative support (e.g., to the Director of Online Learning & Engagement), as required.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong administrative skills.
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills with good interpersonal skills and an ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong customer service skills (incl. email, phone, and face to face).
  • Organised and able to prioritise tasks and manage long-term projects.
  • Experience in Moodle and online learning environments.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, G-Suite, and Adobe Acrobat Professional.
  • Demonstrated Christian character and involvement in a local evangelical church.

Desirable Attributes:

  • Experience with Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop, Turnitin, and Zoom.
  • Experience in Educational administration.
  • Experience with video editing and post-production.
  • Experience with Salesforce.
