Job Description

Seeking an Administration Clerk Level 3; some studies in counselling / psychology sector is preferred. This will initially be a casual position two days per week (initially Mondays and Tuesdays or Wednesday) with the possibility of extended hours and covering of leave for other staff. Training is provided.

Employees would need to align with Christian principles and support the ethos of the organisation.

Applicant requires good computer skills (with capacity to learn new systems), analytical and problem-solving skills, cultural sensitivity and awareness, strong organisational and time management skills, effective verbal and written communication skills, good phone manner, teamwork, honesty and reliability, and high level of personal maturity.

 


Job Requirements

Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

  • Customer service via face-to-face, emails and phone calls; dealing with general enquiries within patient confidentiality restrictions
  • Data entry including client intake and scheduling
  • Allocate patients to appropriate therapists
  • Processing payments and invoicing third parties
  • Record keeping and secure storage of files
  • General support duties such as digital communications, management of digital records & clear documentation of communications
  • Liaising with funding bodies
  • Ability to screen for suicide and triage in cases of critical needs clients (training and support provided)
  • Open office and prepare practice rooms including basic cleaning
  • Willingness to travel to Hoppers Crossing VIC as it is an onsite position
