$70,000 + super ($87 500 Full Time Equivalent)

We’re looking for an organised, proactive, and Christian mission-aligned Property and Grants Administrator to join our Network Enterprises team. If you enjoy balancing property administration, project coordination, and stakeholder engagement, with some Executive Assistant roles, this is a rewarding opportunity to contribute to meaningful community outcomes.

About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Network Enterprises, this diverse role provides administrative, project, and property support to ensure our property portfolio, capital works, grants programs, and a variety of projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to a high standard.

You'll liaise with churches, tenants, contractors, service providers, and internal teams, helping maintain systems, prepare documentation (including writing), support committee processes, and keep projects moving smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

Property Administration

  • Assist with property maintenance programs, small works and CAPEX activities
  • Support compliance with legislation, audits and inspections
  • Prepare and manage leases and licences, including renewals and recordkeeping
  • Liaise with churches, tenants, property managers and service providers

Project Support

  • Provide end-to-end project administration, as an administrator and project coordinator, across small to large projects
  • Assist with budgeting, reporting, risk identification and stakeholder communication
  • Prepare written materials such as policies, Board papers, MoUs and reports
  • Process invoices and liaise with Accounts teams

Grants Assessment Committee

  • Coordinate committee meetings: agendas, papers, minutes, actions
  • Support churches with grant applications, invoices and acquittals
  • Maintain accurate grant records
  • Prepare quarterly financial statements and annual Property Trust reporting

Stakeholder & Administrative Support

  • Coordinate meetings, travel, diaries and workshop logistics
  • Maintain key documents and administrative systems
  • Respond to enquiries and provide high quality customer service
  • Support communication and change management activities

Mission and Ethos

  • Contribute positively to the mission, values and Christian ethos of Churches of Christ in NSW & ACT
  • Participate in team meetings, learning and development, and strategic discussions

About You

Essential Criteria

  • Holds Kingdom (Christian) culture as a priority and demonstrates commitment to working within a Christian context.
  • Strong, encouraging, and personable communication style with the ability to build rapport and trust.
  • Ability to integrate and manage varying priorities effectively.
  • Demonstrated administrator capability with the capacity to handle complexity.
  • A collaborative team player with a positive, proactive attitude.
  • Flexibility to adapt to the evolving needs of CCNSWACT.
  • Demonstrated experience in project administration and project governance.
  • Experience in property administration, facilities, or building related environments.
  • Strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders, including senior leaders and contractors.
  • High level written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant project/maintenance systems.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage competing deadlines.
  • Commitment to supporting and embodying the organisation’s vision and values.

Desirable Criteria

  • NSW Drivers Licence.
  • Experience working within a faith based or not for profit environment.
  • Additional experience in grants administration or committee/governance support.
  • Familiarity with capital works, facilities maintenance, or property compliance systems.
