About Compassion
Compassion Australia is part of Compassion International, a not-for profit, purpose-driven global network across more than 40 countries, working with sponsors, supporters and church partners as a Christian child development ministry to put love into action and help release children from poverty in Jesus’ name.
About the Role
As the Facilities Administrator, you will play an important role in supporting the smooth operation of Compassion Australia’s workplaces and assets. Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you will provide administrative and coordination support across buildings, tenancies, fleet and maintenance activities.
This role combines organisation and operational support, with responsibility for maintaining accurate records, coordinating contractors and maintenance, supporting compliance requirements, and responding to internal service requests. Through strong attention to detail and a collaborative approach, you will help ensure facilities are safe, well maintained and effectively managed.
About You
You are organised, detail oriented and service focused, with the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining accurate systems and documentation. You communicate confidently with a range of stakeholders, from internal staff to contractors and service providers, and approach your work with professionalism and care.
You bring a proactive and solutions focused mindset, enjoy coordinating tasks and processes, and take pride in ensuring operations run smoothly. You are comfortable working both independently and collaboratively and contribute positively to team culture and uphold organisational values. Ideally, you have experience in administrative or operational environments, with an understanding of facilities, maintenance or compliance processes, and an appreciation for working within a Christian or not for profit context where purpose underpins everyday work.
