Seeking a passionate, mission-hearted Christian to serve as a Regional Ambassador in the Greater Melbourne & Geelong Region. This role suits someone who loves the Church, is confident in public speaking, and has a genuine heart for persecuted Christians worldwide.

Part-Time | 22.5 hours per week

Visit churches and Christian organisations across your region, share the stories of persecuted believers and encourage prayer and subscriptions.

Voice of the Martyrs (Australia) is seeking a passionate, mission-hearted Christian to serve as a Regional Ambassador in the Greater Melbourne & Geelong Region.

This role suits someone who loves the Church, is confident in public speaking, and has a genuine heart for persecuted Christians worldwide. Applicants should ideally be based in Greater Melbourne or Geelong.

Voice of the Martyrs – Mission Statement

Voice of the Martyrs (Australia) is a Christian ministry committed to raising awareness of persecuted Christians worldwide, learning from their experiences, and leading others to pray and raise funds to support these believers, enabling them to more effectively spread the gospel of Jesus Christ in their own nations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Visit churches and Christian organisations across your region
  • Share stories of persecuted believers
  • Encourage prayer and subscriptions
  • Build relationships with pastors and Christian leaders
  • Conduct 20–25 weekly supporter phone calls to pray with and encourage supporters (not fundraising)
  • Assist with regional conferences and supporter events

Role Details

  • Coverage area: Greater Melbourne & Geelong (with occasional regional travel)
  • Home-based/remote role (setup assistance provided)
  • Includes Sunday church deputations (weekday flexibility provided)

About You

  • A mature, committed Christian aligned with VOM’s mission and values
  • Heart for persecuted believers
  • Strong communication and public speaking skills
  • Comfortable engaging with church leaders
  • Self-motivated and organised
  • Able to manage a regional schedule independently

Work Structure

  • 22.5 hours per week
  • Work week begins Sunday
  • Three core weekdays (typically Tuesday–Thursday, negotiable)
  • Sunday work balanced with weekday flexibility
  • Daily team devotions via Zoom at 10:00am (Sydney time)
