Charlton Christian College is a K–12 co-educational Christian college of over 800 students, located in Fassifern, Lake Macquarie. Our mission is to provide a Christ-centred education of excellence that helps students develop their God-given potential.

We are seeking reliable and community-minded Bus Drivers to join our team. These roles operate College buses for daily morning and afternoon school runs, with additional casual opportunities to drive College excursions. Drivers play an important role in supporting safe, reliable transport for students and positively representing the College community.

About the Role

• Part-time and casual roles available
• Operate College buses for morning and afternoon school runs
• Additional casual hours available to support excursions and special events
• Maintain a safe and respectful environment on the bus
• Assist with student boarding and exiting the bus
• Complete logbooks and fuel buses as needed
• Report maintenance concerns and complete basic cleaning tasks
• Use of College processes and documentation
• MR licence preferred – the College is willing to fund MR licence training for the right applicant.

The Successful Applicant Will Have:

• A personal relationship with Jesus Christ, regular attendance at a local church and support for the College Statement of Faith
• Knowledge of, and strong commitment to, child safety in an educational setting
• Current Working with Children Check
• MR licence preferred (or willingness to obtain with College support)

Commencement
As soon as possible, subject to negotiation.

Salary & Conditions

• $30.84/hour part-time or $37.01/hour casual
• Remunerated under the Christian Schools General Staff Multi-Enterprise Agreement (Level 1)
• Additional paid hours are available for excursions and College events
