Seeking a highly competent administrator with problem solving skills looking for a rewarding career opportunity in a fantastic professional team.
Stewardship Wealth Management is a privately owned financial advice firm that exists to help people make wise decisions with the resources entrusted to them. Since 2006, we have provided holistic, strategic personal financial advice to individuals and families, integrating investments, financial planning, superannuation, retirement planning, mortgages and debt, cashflow, Centrelink, asset protection, aged care, personal insurances and estate planning.
Our clients are predominantly families and individuals with a strong commitment to evangelical Christian faith and values. They come to us at pivotal moments of life — planning for retirement, receiving an inheritance, buying or selling a home or business, navigating family transitions, or caring for ageing parents. We are privileged to walk alongside them with empathy, integrity and wisdom.
Today, we serve over 200 families and manage more than $250 million in client assets. As our firm continues to grow, we are seeking a like-minded professional to join our team and contribute to work that is both technically excellent and deeply meaningful.
The Role
This role begins with learning the foundations of financial administration and implementing financial plans. The role involves liaising with financial institutions, clients and other professionals.
The work is varied and takes place in a highly supportive and encouraging environment. The work is deeply rewarding — we help our clients get their financial house in order and support them to maintain it through all stages of life.
We are committed to training, mentoring and supporting the right person to grow professionally and personally.
This is a permanent full-time role, however flexibility may be available for the right candidate.
The Candidate
We are seeking a highly organised, thoughtful person who is looking for a meaningful challenge and the opportunity to grow.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate initiative, strong attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to manage changing priorities.
You will be highly numerate, ideally possess tertiary qualifications, and be personable, well-presented and empathetic. We are looking for someone who enjoys problem-solving and learning.
Prior experience in financial services is not required.
Summary
This is a great role for someone looking to change career, commence a career or re-enter the work-force.
