We are currently seeking a member of our Operations’ Services team. It requires a mature person with initiative and experience with exceptional organisation and planning skills. The successful applicants will have the ability to prioritise their own workload, as well as contributing to a high performing team environment.

The HR Officer will provide support to the College on its overall HR strategy. Implementing a series of strategic HR intents across all areas of the organisation. The role will provide these services at the highest level to their internal customers interacting with a wide range of staff but primarily the Executive team and their Departmental Heads.

Overall, the HR Officer is responsible for and will provide the following services:

  • Human Resource Strategy formulation and implementation
  • Recruitment strategies and Candidate Management
  • Induction, Training and HR policy assurance
  • Preparation of accurate, comprehensive, and confidential notes for HR matters
  • Administering and maintenance of our HRIS (Martian Logic)
  • The role will require a person with highly developed time management skills and the ability to work simultaneously on multiple projects with conflicting deadlines.

The successful candidates will:

  • Be enthusiastic and hardworking, demonstrating a willingness to learn, take initiative, have a positive attitude and be flexible.
  • Previous experience working in the school sector
  • Have strong communication skills and strong computer literacy. Including ideally XERO payroll and Martian Logic systems, Microsoft, have worked with Banking Software, Adobe products and has experience with the Sentral Management system and the Funnel CRM.
  • Be a committed Christian with a strong understanding of your faith and involvement in their local Church.
  • An ability to assent to the College Statement of Faith.
  • A Working with Children Check is required prior to commencement of employment.
