Watoto is a Christian ministry passionately committed to rescuing vulnerable children and empowering women through sustainable, family-based care in Uganda and South Sudan. Through the Watoto Children’s Choir, we share God’s hope and love with churches, schools, and communities around the world.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organised and mission-aligned Events Coordinator to plan and coordinate all logistics for the Watoto Children’s Choir tours across Australia, as well as support other Watoto events as required. This role is ideal for someone with strong event coordination skills who is passionate about serving God through ministry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all logistics for Watoto Children’s Choir tours, including visas, travel, accommodation, transport, merchandise, and supplies
  • Liaise with Watoto International, churches, schools, venues, and host families
  • Communicate hosting requirements clearly in line with Child Safeguarding and Child Safe standards
  • Manage tour data and relationships using Salesforce
  • Support on-the-ground tour logistics, including occasional domestic travel
  • Assist with event coordination and additional ministry events as required

About You

The successful applicant will:

  • Be a committed Christian who will be happy to support Watoto’s vision and values
  • Have at least two years’ experience in event coordination, logistics, administration or client-facing roles
  • Demonstrate excellent organisational, communication, and time management skills
  • Be able to remain calm and focused under pressure
  • Work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative Christian team
  • Be comfortable working flexibly, including occasional after-hours support during tours
