Administration / Sales Consultancy (Cake Decorating)

Seeking a warm, reliable and detail-oriented Admin & Sales Consultant to support our Director and assist her small team of cake consultants.

This role would suit someone who enjoys serving others, values teamwork and loves combining administration, creativity and customer care in a positive and encouraging workplace.

About the Role

• Part-time position: approx 4 days per week
• Variable roster, incorporating approximately two weekends per month and school holiday shifts.
• Based at our retail store at the Fyshwick Fresh Food Markets

Key Responsibilities

• General office administration, including stock ordering and maintaining inventory records

• Assisting with marketing tasks and uploading new products and images to our website

• Providing back-up support to our sales team (aka cake consultants) when required

• Helping customers select the right ingredients, tools and equipment for their cake decorating projects

About You

• Proficient in Microsoft Office

• Experience with Canva, Retail Express, and/or Shopify is highly regarded

• Working knowledge or strong interest in cake decorating

• Polished customer service skills with clear, professional verbal and written communication

• Well-organised, dependable, flexible and able to manage multiple tasks with care and attention to detail

• Friendly, approachable and passionate about helping others create something meaningful and beautiful
