Our Counselling, Chaplaincy, and Spiritual Care (CCSC) Faculty offers expert counselling and chaplaincy education, firmly integrating faith with professional practice.

We are seeking a professional, warm, and highly organised Academic Administrator to support our CCSC Faculty. This role is part-time, 2 days/week, and is based in Sydney.

As our Academic Administrator, you will:

  • Provide administrative support to the CCSC Faculty, including supporting processes for course accreditation, moderation, student admissions, and marketing initiatives.
  • Ensure the accuracy and currency of course guides and documentation.
  • Assist with student enquiries, responding in a warm and professional manner, whilst ensuring confidentiality and integrity of all student records and data.
  • This role is part-time 0.4 FTE, 15.2 hours/week (2 days/week).
  • Remuneration: $72,233/year pro-rated to $28,893/year (excl. Super).

 

Essential Attributes (please respond to these attributes in your Cover Letter):

  • Previous administrative experience, with the ability to remain calm in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Strong software competence including Microsoft and Google platforms.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with professional, warm communication—both written and verbal.
  • Proven organisation and time management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams to achieve goals.
  • Demonstrated Christian character and involvement in a local evangelical church.
  • Alignment of personal values, beliefs and practices with the mission, Staff Code (https://tinyurl.com/mcstaffcode), and Christian ethos of Morling College.

 

Desirable Attributes

  • Previous experience in academic administrative support, including accreditation processes.
  • Experience/understanding of counselling/chaplaincy industry.
