Waverley Christian College is a forward thinking and culturally diverse Christian co-educational school from Kinder to Year 12. We have been providing students with a quality Christian educational experience for over 45 years. With campuses in Wantirna South and Narre Warren South, Waverley Christian College has an enrolment of over 2400 students with 400 staff across both campuses in 2025.

The Narre Warren South Campus is seeking a part-time Food Studies Technician (FTE 0.458) to join the team from January, 2026.

This role provides hands-on support to teaching staff and students by preparing and maintaining food studies classrooms, coordinating resources and stock, and ensuring learning spaces are safe, clean, and well organised. The successful applicant will work closely with teachers to support practical lessons, excursions, and school events.

You are an ideal candidate if you:

  • Are highly organised and able to manage stock, food ordering and preparation, and resources efficiently
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and safe food handling practices
  • Have high level communication and interpersonal skills
  • Are Health and Safety minded
  • Have excellent problem-solving skills
  • Enjoy working in a team environment
  • Are able to show a commitment to the values and ethos of Christian education
