This is a significant leadership role for someone passionate about pastoral ministry, developing leaders, building healthy ministries, and helping people grow as disciples of Jesus.

You will serve alongside our Senior Pastor and supportive team, with real opportunity to shape ministry and make a lasting impact in the lives of people across our congregation and community.

Key Responsibilities

What the role involves day to day.

• Lead and develop our Home Group ministry.
• Support and equip ministry leaders and volunteer teams.
• Provide pastoral care across the congregation.
• Contribute to preaching and teaching.
• Assist with baptisms, dedications, weddings and funerals.
• Support church governance, administration and ministry planning.
• Develop emerging leaders and strengthen discipleship pathways.

• Demonstrate a clear call to pastoral ministry.
• Love people and have a strong pastoral heart.
• Have leadership experience and the ability to develop others.
• Work well with staff and volunteers.
• Possess ministry/theological training or equivalent ministry experience.
• Be an accredited Baptist minister, or in the accreditation process.
• Candidates willing to pursue accreditation through BCWA are also encouraged to apply.
