Job Description
We are looking for a pastor who loves God, loves people and is excited about seeing others flourish in their faith and calling. Someone who can lead with vision and humility, build strong relationships across generations and cultures, and encourage and equip others to use their gifts....
Over our sixty-year history we have grown to become a vibrant multi-cultural church with ministries across all age groups, a faithful witness to our local area, and active involvement in what God is doing beyond our shores. Edge Community Church is an evangelical church and part of the Christian Community Churches of Australia.
We believe the gospel truly is good news. We are a family-oriented church and long for everyone to discover what it means to belong to God’s family. We have confidence in the power of God’s grace to transform lives, families, communities and, ultimately, the world.
We are committed to discipleship; knowing God and making him known. And we believe everyone has a part to play and encourage all to discover and use their gifts.
Over the past couple of years, we have intentionally invested in laying strong foundations for the next season of our life together. We are expectant, excited and eager to find the right person to lead us into that season. We sense that God has much ahead for Edge, and we are eager to welcome the person he is calling to lead us into this next chapter.

We are looking for a leader who can help us grow in our life together as a church, while continuing to cultivate our heart for our local community and for God’s mission beyond us. Above all, we are looking for someone who shares our confidence in the good news of Jesus Christ and is ready to journey with us into all that God has ahead.
Could that be you?
If you resonate with our mission, beliefs and values, and would love to join us in discovering and pursuing God’s purposes for Edge, we would love to hear from you.
