About Plenty Valley Christian College

Plenty Valley Christian College is a thriving Christian learning community located in Melbourne's northern suburbs, providing education from Early Learning through to Year 12.

With approximately 1,100 students, our College is large enough to offer excellent opportunities for professional growth, while retaining a strong sense of community where students and staff are known, valued and supported.

Our mission is to provide an outstanding education grounded in Christian faith, developing young people who are equipped to flourish academically, personally and spiritually.

We are committed to creating an environment where staff are encouraged to grow professionally, collaborate generously and make a meaningful difference in the lives of students.

The Opportunity

The Head of School leads through a collaborative Secondary Culture & Community team comprising the Culture & Community Leader - Foundations, Culture & Community Exploration, and Culture & Community Leader - Futures. The Head of Secondary provides direction, alignment, coaching and accountability, ensuring these leaders operate as one team rather than as separate portfolio silos.

Through visible, relational and Christ-centred leadership, the Head of School cultivates a culture where students are known, safe, challenged and supported; staff are encouraged and accountable; families are respected as partners; and systems consistently serve learning, wellbeing and human flourishing.
