About the role:
BaptistCare is seeking an experienced Sustainability Manager to lead and manage our sustainability strategy, framework and action plans across the organisation. Reporting to the General Manager - Strategy, you will guide the development, execution and reporting of initiatives that support BaptistCare’s commitment to net zero by 2050 or before, our Reconciliation Action Plan and other key sustainability priorities.
This is a highly influential role with the opportunity to embed sustainability into corporate strategy and decision-making. Partnering across BaptistCare, you will identify sustainability risks and opportunities, establish meaningful goals and measures, support responsible growth and build organisation-wide engagement in sustainability outcomes.
You will act as a trusted subject matter expert across sustainability frameworks, data, disclosures and emerging regulatory requirements. You will also provide clear reporting to the Executive Team and Board, strengthen internal measurement systems and help communicate BaptistCare’s progress credibly and purposefully.
