Job Description

The Room Leader (ECT) is an integral part of the Preschool based team and works in partnership with, and under the direction of the Director and Educational Leader. Room Leader (ECT) will lead a cooperative and collaborative team formed under the direction and guidance of the relevant overseers, to provide a quality educational service to staff, children and families alike..

Dubbo Christian Preschool is a modern, growing and strongly resourced Preschool in a beautiful setting in regional NSW. It is a co-educational, non-denominational Preschool with 120 enrolments and a mission “to provide foundational play-based learning filled with Christ’s love and teaching.”.

The successful applicants will:

  • have a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or equivalent
  • Meeting the requirement of Accredition and Professional Standards through NESA
  • have a current valid Working with Children Check (or equivalent in their current jurisdiction)
  • be an active and passionate Christian, able to accept and live out the BCE Statement of Faith
  • have a demonstrated ability or experience to perform as an Educator
  • have an ability to lead and work in a team, maintaining a positive and professional approach to children, co-workers and other members of the Preschool community
  • have demonstrated proficiency and competence in the use of technology to enhance educational outcomes
  • have high level of interpersonal and communication skills
  • a committment to the Preschool's Child Safe Standards

Renumeration for this position will be in accordance with the NSW Christian Schools General Staff Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2024.

The commencement of this role will be in Term 1 2027.
