Northside Christian College is currently seeking a capable and customer-focused ICT Help Desk Officer to join our ICT team.

About the Position

• Support the day-to-day ICT operations of the College.
• Perform the College Help Desk function, ensuring requests from staff and students are responded to promptly and effectively.
• Act as the first point of contact for the ICT Department, triaging requests and escalating matters to the IT Manager as required.
• Provide phone and face-to-face support for hardware, software and other ICT-related issues.
• Assist with the installation, maintenance and upgrading of ICT systems and equipment.
• Work collaboratively with the ICT team to provide excellent customer service and technical support to the College community.
• Other duties deemed appropriate by the IT Manager and/or Principal to support the efficient functioning of the College.

What We’re Looking For

• Demonstrated experience troubleshooting, installing and maintaining ICT systems.
• Sound knowledge of Microsoft Windows and expeerience supporting a range of devices, including PC's, tablets and printers.
• Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage competing requests in a busy environment.
• A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and build positive relationships with staff and students.
• A flexible approach and the capacity to adapt to change.
• A genuine interest in technology and a desire to keep abreast of current developments in the ICT field.
• A committed Christian with a heart for service and a strong commitment to the ethos of Christian education.
• Holds or is willing to obtain a current Working with Children Check.
