We are excited to invite passionate and experienced educators to apply for the position of Head of Pastoral Care (Primary), joining our Primary leadership team in 2027. In this role, you will oversee pastoral care, behaviour management, and student wellbeing across the Primary school, while contributing to whole-school leadership.

About the Role

We are looking for a leader who:

• Has excellent interpersonal and communication skills to successfully engage students, staff and parents

• Can guide students in behavioural and disciplinary matters based on Christian principles consistent with the College’s ethos

• Can develop and implement policies relating to student behaviour management

• Works effectively as part of a leadership team, fostering support and cooperation

• Can handle sensitive issues with sound judgement and confidentiality

• Brings a teaching component to the role, maintaining a close relationship with the student body and current best practice

• Is dedicated to Christian education

You are a mature and relational Christian leader with a vibrant, growing faith and an active commitment to a local church congregation. You bring excellent organisational ability and sound decision-making to pastoral care for Primary students, and you're energised by the opportunity to shape culture, support teaching teams, and build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents. You are committed to seeing young people flourish academically, socially, and spiritually, and are excited by the opportunity to make a lasting difference in a Christ-centred school community.
