Bundaberg Baptist Church is seeking an experienced, dynamic and energetic Senior Pastor to lead our church community into its next season.
We are a family seeking to connect people with God and each other. We’re looking for a pastor who is passionate about Jesus, loves people, and has the vision and leadership capacity to help our church grow in faith, community and mission.

About You
You are a relational and inspirational leader who:
- Has a genuine and growing relationship with Jesus Christ and a passion for seeing people come to know Him.
- Meets the requirements for registration as a Queensland Baptist Pastor.
- Brings demonstrated pastoral, ministry and leadership experience relevant to the role.
- Is an engaging communicator who can inspire, encourage and connect with people of all ages and backgrounds.
- Has strong community engagement skills and a heart for serving beyond the walls of the church.
- Can provide vision, direction and leadership while working collaboratively with our church leadership and congregation.
- Is passionate about developing people, building strong teams and creating opportunities for others to discover and use their gifts.
About the Role
As Senior Pastor, you will provide spiritual, pastoral and strategic leadership to Bundaberg Baptist Church. You will have the opportunity to:
- Lead and inspire the church as we pursue our mission and vision.
- Provide biblical teaching and preaching that encourages people to grow in their faith.
- Build strong relationships across the church and within the wider community.
- Develop and empower leaders, volunteers and ministry teams.
- Identify new opportunities to connect with and serve the Bundaberg community.
- Help foster a vibrant, welcoming and Christ-centred church culture.

Bundaberg Baptist Church is a welcoming and growing church family committed to following Jesus and making disciples. We value diversity, team ministry, and authentic community, and we are actively engaged in mission and outreach across the Bundaberg region.
Our ministry team currently includes the Senior Pastor, Youth Ministries Coordinator, Children’s Ministries Coordinator, Operations Coordinator, and a volunteer Pastoral Care Coordinator. We work collaboratively under a clear 3-year vision and ministry plan (July 2025 – July 2027).
