Our network includes Christian school communities across six unique campuses throughout the Northern Territory — from Darwin and Palmerston to Central Australia and remote East Arnhem Land.

About this opportunity – Secondary Teachers 2027

As a Secondary Teacher with NT Christian Schools, you will create engaging and purposeful learning experiences that encourage students to think critically, explore ideas and develop the knowledge and skills they need for life beyond school. You will teach from a biblical worldview, helping students recognise and develop their individual gifts while growing in confidence, character and faith. Working alongside a collaborative community of Christian educators, you will partner with families and colleagues to help young people flourish.

NT Christian Schools exists to advance the Christian religion through the provision of education and religious instruction. For the purposes of upholding the Christian ethos of our schools, it is a genuine occupational qualification of this role that applicants be able to teach religious education, lead, and otherwise assist in, religious practices and observances and personally adhere to, uphold, and authentically model the religious beliefs of NT Christian Schools.

Marrara Christian College – Darwin

Located in Darwin's northern suburbs, Marrara Christian College is an established Christian school community providing education from the early years through to Year 12. As the first Christian school established in Darwin, Marrara has a rich history of partnering with parents and families to provide Christ-centred education. For teachers, Marrara offers the opportunity to become part of a diverse school community while enjoying the tropical lifestyle of Darwin.

Palmerston Christian College – Palmerston

Palmerston Christian College is located in Palmerston, south of Darwin, and provides Christian education within a caring and supportive learning environment. The College is committed to Christ-centred education, intentional pastoral care and focused academic growth, while developing future leaders and building a strong community culture. It offers teachers the opportunity to invest their gifts in a growing Christian school community.

Sattler Christian College – Darwin Rural Area

Located at Freds Pass in the Darwin rural area, Sattler Christian College provides Christian education in a spacious natural environment. The College has a strong commitment to teaching and learning from a Christian worldview and helping students develop their gifts and abilities. Araluen Christian College – Alice Springs

Araluen Christian College is located in Alice Springs, in the heart of Australia's Red Centre. The College provides quality education from a biblical perspective and partners with parents to help students grow as learners and contribute positively to the world around them. Nhulunbuy Christian College – Nhulunbuy, East Arnhem Land

Located in Nhulunbuy in East Arnhem Land, Nhulunbuy Christian College is a caring Christian school community where students are valued, respected and encouraged to develop their gifts and talents. Gäwa Christian School – Elcho Island, East Arnhem Land

Gäwa Christian School is a small, remote Christian school located at Gäwa on Elcho Island in East Arnhem Land. Working at Gäwa provides an extraordinary opportunity to live, learn and serve within a remote community while building meaningful relationships and contributing to Christian education. It is particularly suited to educators who approach remote education, community and culture with humility, flexibility and a genuine willingness to learn.

NT Christian College – Senior Years Education

NT Christian College provides Senior Years Education across the NT Christian Schools network, supporting senior secondary students across our Territory campuses. • Salary between $91,587 – $136,997.
