Gnadenfrei Counselling & Psychology Centre was established in 1997 in response to a clear need in the community for high quality counselling services provided by practitioners holding a Christian world view. The Centre currently offers appointments with Psychologists, Social Workers and Counsellors and works from a trauma informed perspective providing a trauma focused service.

The Role

About the Role

Essential criteria:

• Experience with Medicare, Workcover, DVA billing preferred.
• Work experience with National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) billing and process is desirable.
• Knowledge and experience with NDIS system and compliance.
• High attention to detail and accurate data entry.
• High level of skills using Microsoft software packages
• Experience with Halaxy
• Flexible, able to adapt to new situations and multitask.
• Have strong interpersonal skills and make clients feel welcome.
• Previous experience in an allied health setting is preferred.
• Demonstrate strong and efficient organizational skills.
• Demonstrate integrity, reliability, empathy and responsibility.

Administrator tasks include but are not limited to:

• Processing billing, Medicare, Private Health, Workcover, DVA and NDIS payments invoicing.
• Welcoming clients and families to our service
• Answering phone calls, enquiries and client emails
• Completing intake calls to gather information about referrals concerns and client needs.
• Completing intake with new referrals.
• Keeping client files accurate and up to date
• Taking notes in meetings
• Preparing NDIS service agreements, and Medicare claims
