We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Finance Assistant to join our team and help support the financial and administrative operations of the station.
This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who enjoys numbers, administration, and contributing to a purpose-driven organisation making a real impact in people’s lives.
About the Role
- Accounts payable and receivable
- Processing donations and supporter payments
- Bank reconciliations and financial data entry
- Payroll support and general finance administration
- Maintaining accurate financial records
- Assisting with reporting and office administration including answering the phone
- Banking and going to the post office
This role works closely with station leadership and administration staff to help ensure smooth and efficient operations.
About You
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Trustworthy and able to maintain confidentiality
- Friendly, reliable, and proactive
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Supportive of the mission and values of Christian media
Ideally You Will Have
- Experience in bookkeeping, accounts, or finance administration
- Experience with Xero, or similar accounting software
- Strong computer and communication skills
- Experience in a not-for-profit environment (desirable but not essential)
