Prison Fellowship Australia is seeking a passionate and strategic Volunteers & Programs Coordinator to lead and grow volunteer teams across NSW and ACT. If you thrive on empowering others, coordinating life-changing programs, and building Christ-centered teams, this role is for you!

What You’ll Do:

  • Recruit, train, and mobilise volunteers to deliver impactful programs inside prisons and in the community.
  • Equip volunteer leaders to care for and manage healthy, flourishing teams.
  • Develop strong relationships with churches, correctional centres, and community partners.
  • Oversee programs like The Prisoner’s JourneyPrison Visitation, and post-release mentoring, ensuring they run smoothly and effectively.
  • Champion the mission of sharing the Gospel and bringing hope and transformation to prisoners and their families.

Who You Are:

  • A dynamic leader with experience in volunteer management and team-building.
  • A strong communicator who loves to connect and build relationships.
  • Someone who thrives in a ministry environment and is committed to Prison Fellowship’s mission.
  • Experienced with administrative tasks, CRMs, and event coordination.
  • Flexible and willing to travel throughout NSW/ACT, including some weekend and evening work.
