Charlton Christian College is a K–12 co-educational Christian school located in Fassifern, Lake Macquarie. Our mission is to provide a Christ-centred education of excellence that empowers students to develop their God-given potential.

We are seeking a creative, organised and service-oriented Marketing Officer to support the delivery of the College’s marketing, communications and community engagement initiatives. This role contributes to building strong connections with current and prospective families through high-quality content creation, digital engagement and consistent brand presentation, while supporting College events as required.

About the Role

  • Support the delivery of marketing campaigns and communications across the College
  • Create engaging content including social media, website updates, newsletters and promotional materials
  • Maintain brand consistency across all communications and support staff in aligning with brand guidelines
  • Coordinate marketing timelines, resources and project activities to support effective delivery
  • Contribute to the planning and delivery of College events in collaboration with the broader team
  • Work collaboratively with staff to support effective communication and community engagement initiatives

The Successful Applicant Will Have

  • A personal Christian faith, regular church attendance, and willingness to support the College’s Statement of Faith
  • Understanding of, and commitment to, child safety in an educational environment
  • Current NSW Working with Children Check
  • Experience in marketing, communications, content creation and/or events
  • Demonstrated experience in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign and Photoshop)
  • Experience managing social media channels and updating website content (WordPress or similar)

Salary & Conditions

The full-time equivalent salary for this role is $85,350 per annum (Level 4 MEA).

As this position is term-time only (approximately 40 working weeks per year) and offered on a part-time basis (3-5 days per week negotiable), the actual salary will be pro-rated based on days worked and weeks paid. Salary is averaged across the year to provide consistent fortnightly payments.

The part-time hourly rate is $43.08, with conditions in accordance with the Christian Schools General Staff Multi-Enterprise Agreement.
