Casual Medical Receptionist for Psychiatrist Clinic

We are seeking a casual Medical Receptionist who shares our commitment to kindness, respect, and empathy. Our clients include many people of Christian faith, and we are looking for someone who understands and acknowledges the Christian faith.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist patients and visitors with a warm and friendly attitude.
• Make phone calls, schedule appointments, and handle patient inquiries.
• Maintain patient records and ensure privacy and confidentiality
• Assist with billing and Medicare verification as needed.
• Manage office supplies and ensure the reception area is clean, organised, and welcoming.
• Be mindful and respectful of our patients' background and needs, offering support and care aligned with their values when appropriate.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a medical office or receptionist role preferred, but not required.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to remain calm and positive in challenging situations.
• A heart for serving others with respect for patients' mental health needs.
• Availability throughout weekdays, including Saturdays.
• Able to work independently primarily in our Stirling clinic (preferably with availability to work in Willetton if required)
• Must hold permanent resident status or equivalent Australian work rights.
