About Wesley Mission

Wesley Mission is a large, multi‑faceted Christian organisation committed to doing all the good we can because every life matters.

We support people at every stage of life through more than 200 services across NSW, working with individuals, families and communities experiencing vulnerability and disadvantage.

About the Role

We are seeking two Hub Coordinators to be the welcoming face of Wesley Mission at our Sydney CBD site.

This is not a traditional reception role. As a Hub Coordinator, you will operate as a concierge and triage point for clients, visitors and callers—supporting people with complex needs, navigating services, and responding calmly and professionally in high‑trust situations.

You’ll work across our physical reception and internal coordination hub, partnering closely with frontline services, security, and corporate teams to ensure a safe, responsive and dignified experience for everyone who engages with Wesley Mission.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for visitors, clients and stakeholders at 220 Pitt Street
  • Answer and triage phone, email and digital enquiries across Wesley Mission services
  • Respond to people in distress with empathy, professionalism and appropriate escalation
  • Coordinate referrals and warm handovers to internal services and external partners
  • Support visitor management, safety processes and site operations
  • Work collaboratively with security, facilities and program teams
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to continuous improvement of hub operations

About You

You are an excellent communicator, calm under pressure, highly organised, and motivated by purpose‑driven work. You enjoy working with people from all walks of life and are confident navigating complex situations with professionalism and care.

You will bring:

  • Demonstrated high level experience in customer service, community services, health, or frontline coordination roles
  • Strong communication and de‑escalation skills
  • Confidence and experience working with vulnerable people
  • High attention to detail and sound judgement
  • Comfort using databases, phones and digital systems
  • Alignment with Wesley Mission’s values and mission

What We Offer

  • Meaningful, values‑based work in a supportive team
  • Structured induction, site tours and ongoing learning
  • Exposure to a wide range of community and support services
  • Stable full‑time employment under the SCHADS Award
  • A role where your work genuinely impacts lives, every day

Other benefits

  • Tax savings via salary packaging.
  • Study leave and financial assistance through our educational assistance scheme for eligible employees.
  • Fitness Passport membership for discounted access to gyms and pools across NSW.
  • Blue Light Card membership offering discounts and rewards with retailers and services.
  • Access to a confidential Employee Assistance Program (EAP) including Manager Assist.
  • A highly engaged and values-driven workplace culture.

Requirements

  • Working with Vulnerable People clearance (or willingness to obtain)
