The Headmaster seeks to appoint an appropriately qualified and experienced Christian professional who demonstrates a commitment to their Christian faith, as evidenced by regular attendance and involvement at a Church, to this full-time, permanent position. This role supports the Accounts Manager and, through her, the Finance Manager by managing the end-to-end processing of the School’s expenditure. This role ensures that all vendors, staff reimbursements, and utility providers are paid accurately and on time, maintaining the School’s reputation for financial integrity and supporting the operational needs of various departments.

The successful candidate must be willing and able to undertake repetitive tasks and work closely with the Finance Team. Annual Leave is generally taken in the December/January school vacation period. This role requires a meticulous professional who balances technical skill with a collaborative spirit.

Candidates for this position require:

  • A Working With Children Check clearance;
  • Suitable qualifications and or experience for the role;
  • Good communication skills, be people-focused, punctual and reliable;
  • An ability to work within a team and yet show independence and initiative when required;
  • An ability to use digital workflow systems and databases;
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new tasks and skills, working well in a dynamic team and having a good sense of humour;
  • End-to-end ownership of tasks: Manage the full AP lifecycle, from invoice entry and GST compliance to statement reconciliations and payment runs; and,
  • Community impact: Support teachers and staff by ensuring a smooth acquisition process and vendor satisfaction.
