Chevalier College

Set on our splendid 100-acre site, students are able to experience the diverse offerings of a large school, whilst feeling they are in a very secure and comfortable small school environment. From its humble beginnings in 1946 as an independent Catholic boy’s boarding school owned and conducted by the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart (MSC), the Chevalier College of today has evolved into a coeducational day MSC school.  The college has a proud history and is very thankful to the more than 13,000 past students for the legacy they have given the current and future students of the college.

The MSC charism is one that focuses on love for one another, the same love that Jesus offers to us all.  It is through this charism, known as Heart Spirituality, that the school has a very calm, peaceful and respectful feel about it.  It is within this charism that students are encouraged and supported to be the best people they can be academically, physically, emotionally and spiritually and to be the best carers of others they can be – in essence, to be people of heart always striving ‘to be on earth the heart of God.’
