Hawkesbury Valley Baptist Church

Hawkesbury Valley Baptist Church (HVBC) is a healthy and growing church located in North Richmond on the northwestern fringe of the Sydney Metropolitan area. We are an Affiliated Church with the NSW/ACT Baptist Association.

Our mission is to love and lead all people to live as passionate and mature disciples of Jesus, and we are shaped by our five core values:

We are a multi-generational church with strong local community ties through school chaplaincy, SRE, an annual large-scale community Christmas carols event, and other regular outreach programs. The church also owns and manages a business park which provide additional opportunities to strengthen our local economic community.

Hawkesbury Valley Baptist Church (HVBC) is a healthy and growing church on the northwestern fringe of the Sydney Metropolitan area. We are seeking a suitable candidate for the dual-role of School Chaplain and Next Generation Ministry Worker, for a late-January 2027 commencement. The role consists of school chaplaincy in two local schools (one primary school and one high school), plus some additional hours working alongside our Student Pastor who oversees our children’s and youth ministries.
