THE ROLE:

The IT Manager role is a 0.5 FTE position, with flexibility in working hours. The role is responsible for providing strategic oversight and coordination of information technology across the Association, including IT governance, core platforms, cybersecurity, vendor management, and system integration. The IT Manager works closely with internal stakeholders and external service providers to ensure technology is secure, reliable, well governed, and aligned with the Association’s mission and strategic priorities.

Key responsibilities include oversight of IT operations and vendors, system integration and data governance, cybersecurity and risk management, staff enablement and adoption of core systems, and other duties as required.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:

The successful candidate will be a mature and committed Christian who has a sense of calling to serving God in this role. They will possess the following attributes, skills, and experience:

  • Experience in an IT leadership or IT Manager role, with responsibility for strategy, governance, and vendor oversight.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • An understanding of the not‑for‑profit and faith‑based environment.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft 365–based platforms and cloud technologies.
  • Demonstrated capability in vendor management, system integration, and digital risk and cybersecurity oversight.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical matters clearly.
  • Well‑developed organisational and administrative skills.
