Seeking a passionate and gospel-driven Youth & Children’s Minister to lead the combined churches youth and children’s work on Norfolk Island.......

  • Part-time (25 hrs/week) | 12-month+ role | Start date by negotiation

A Ministry Like No Other:

This is no ordinary role. As the sole Christian children and youth worker on the island, you will:

  • Have creative freedom to shape the established weekly Kids Club, Youth Group and discipleship activities.
  • Reach across denominations, leading a united, island-wide ministry.
  • Work in a close-knit community where your presence is known and your ministry truly matters.
  • Be part of a unique mission – bringing the hope of Jesus to young people in a remote, beautiful island environment.
  • Get involved in school-based SRE ministry.
  • Manage a team of ministry minded volunteers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and run Kids Club (Primary) and UNIT Youth (High School) programs, weekly during school terms.
  • Teach SRE (Scripture) in the local Primary School.
  • Disciple youth through relationship-based ministry.
  • Equip and support local Christian leaders and volunteers.
  • Participate in monthly fraternal and planning meetings.
  • Represent youth and children ministries to all churches.

We’re Looking for Someone Who:

  • Loves Jesus and has a passion to see kids and youth grow in faith.
  • Is a team player, ready to work across churches and ages.
  • Has theological training (or currently studying by distance) and ministry experience.
  • Thrives in relational ministry.
  • Is prepared to live and minister in a remote island community.
  • Holds a current WWCC/Blue Card and Safe Ministry credentials.
