CYC is looking for a passionate, innovative and creative person to join our Generations Ministry team as a Family Camp Director.

About CYC's Generations Ministry

Here at Christian Youth Camps, our Generations Ministry team currently facilitates ten family camps and events throughout the year across five of our sites. These camps and events are designed for families to not only create new memories, but to reconnect as a family while having the opportunity to grow in their understanding of faith together.

About the role:

As a Family Camp Director, you will have the opportunity to be part of creating incredible memory-making moments for families as they discover who God is and build lifelong friendships through all the fun of camp.

To make all this happen, you will be responsible for the planning, preparation, and implementation of our two family camps at CYC ADANAC and as well as two specialist generation camps. These specialist camps include Growing Good Men, Father and Son weekend at CYC Forest Edge and our Heart to Heart Marriage weekend at CYC City.

This role is responsible for the camp program, recruitment and training of volunteer leadership teams, liaising with campsite management and staff, and overseeing the camp and events as a whole; as well as overseeing the planning and implementation of two brand new events aimed at equipping parents.

This position should appeal to someone with a strong passion for family and intergenerational ministry and experience in leading teams. This position is a part-time, ongoing role (3-4 days per week) working alongside our Generations Department.

You will need:

This role is primarily based out of our office in Ringwood, along with some hours being onsite during the particular camps that you are assigned to.
