Citipointe Christian College is seeking an experienced and passionate Head of Strings to support and lead our strings tuition, ensembles and beginner programs. Our strings program begins as early as Year 2, supported by a dedicated teaching space and a thriving arts culture.

About the Role

This newly established position may be full‑time or part‑time, depending on the successful candidate.

You will oversee and contribute to:

• Private and small‑group string tuition
• String ensemble rehearsals
• The Beginner String Program
• Program coordination and administration
• A genuine Christian faith and active church involvement
• A solid understanding of the Christian faith, support for its beliefs, and personal commitment to its principles

What You’ll Bring (selection Criteria)

• A growing Christian faith and meaningful connection to a Christian community
• Relevant qualifications and/or experience in Music, Arts or Education
• Strong instrumental teaching skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Confidence teaching small and large groups
• Knowledge of contemporary instrumental pedagogy
• Experience preparing students for exams (e.g., AMEB)
• Ensemble directing experience (preferred)
• Current Blue Card or QCT registration (or ability to obtain)
