Oxley Kids is a Christian Early Childhood Centre, committed to excellence in education and care, through which children develop their abilities in a secure yet stimulating environment, including on-site Bush Kinder program on our 70 acre property. Oxley Kids programs include Long Day Care for children from 18 weeks to 3 years, Long and Short Day 3 and 4 year old Kindergarten, Outside School Hours Care and Playgroup.

We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate, dynamic Early Childhood Teacher to join our team for a Maternity Leave replacement position, to lead one of our two 3-year-old long day Kindergarten Programs. We operate our kindergarten programs as a hybrid model, with all children attending kindergarten from 8:30am to 2pm, after which time some are picked up and some continue on, with the teachers then out of the room to plan their program and attend to administration.

We employ under the conditions of the Teacher's Award but with term breaks fully paid as non-contact time, and closely matching the pay rates of school teachers.

The successful applicant will have experience in planning and delivering a high quality educational program. Our Kindergarten programs are play based with a strong focus on literacy and numeracy.

Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or equivalent qualification on ACECQA qualification list)

VIT Registration (either Provisional or Full)

Child Protection / Mandatory Reporting Training (or willingness to complete before commencement)

Food handling training (or willingness to complete before commencement)
