The Role
CREST Education is seeking a motivated and reliable Property Services Officer to join our Property Services team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work and takes pride in maintaining high-quality facilities and grounds within a vibrant school environment. This is a permanent, fulltime position.
The primary purpose of this role is to support the maintenance and presentation of CREST’s buildings, infrastructure, grounds and outdoor spaces across our campuses. Working closely with the Maintenance Coordinator and Property Services team, the Property Services Officer will contribute to ensuring our facilities remain safe, functional and well-presented for students, staff and the broader school community.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist with general property and facilities maintenance across CREST campuses
• Perform repairs to buildings, infrastructure and furniture
• Maintain grounds including mowing, gardening and general upkeep
• Assist with deliveries, event set-ups and pack-downs
• Operate and maintain plant and equipment safely
• Maintain maintenance areas, tools and equipment
• Identify and report maintenance issues across campus infrastructure
• Work collaboratively with the Property Services team, staff and contractors
About You
• Demonstrated interest or experience in property maintenance, groundskeeping or facilities support
• Ability to safely operate maintenance tools, equipment and machinery
• Strong practical problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Good organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks and work orders
• Physically capable of performing manual tasks and outdoor work
• A current driver’s licence (manual licence advantageous)
• Experience with mowing equipment, tractors or turf management is desirable
• Willingness to support school events and occasional work outside normal hours when required
