About the Role

As Director, Nominated Supervisor & Educational Leader, you will:

  • Lead the day-to-day operations of a 49-place Preschool and OSHC service
  • Drive pedagogical excellence and lead the educational program
  • Mentor and coach educators to strengthen practice
  • Oversee documentation of children’s learning and support continuous improvement
  • Manage operational and compliance responsibilities with support from head office

This role is designed to give you substantial off-the-floor leadership time, while a small component of on-the-floor work supports continuity of care and team operations.

About You

You are a purposeful, capable leader with both professional expertise and personal conviction. You demonstrate:

  • A vibrant Christian faith and a desire to work closely with our onsite church partners
  • Strong time management and prioritisation skills, balancing operations and pedagogy
  • Clear, confident communication that builds trust with educators, families, and colleagues
  • Motivation, initiative, and the ability to work independently
  • A relational leadership style grounded in respect, encouragement, and accountability
  • A proactive approach to leading improvement and supporting your team

Qualifications:

  • ACECQA-approved early childhood teaching qualification (or equivalent)
  • Teacher accreditation with NESA
  • Prescribed child protection and child safety training (or willingness to obtain)
  • Approved first aid, anaphylaxis management, and emergency asthma management training (or willingness to obtain)
