Job Description
Responsible for the implementation of Youth ministry at Newlife Church Nambour. This role is both evangelistic and pastoral with the goal of creating effective disciples for Jesus Christ and fully committed members of Newlife Church.......
Ordinary hours of work would be 16 hours/week or as advised by the Church from time to time.
Core objectives include:
- Raise and lead an enthusiastic leadership team.
- Organise and facilitate weekly youth meetings.
- Oversee the pastoral care of Youth.
- Ensure new youth are connected & included in various Church activities.
- Organise and facilitate various other activities (such as youth camps, excursions, inter-church activities, sporting events, etc.)
- Seek ways to reach unchurched youth, including actively engaging with local high schools.
- Oversee and moderate all Newlife Youth social media content.
- Meet with Senior Pastors weekly.
- Attend monthly Church team nights.
