Citipointe Christian College is currently seeking applications for short-term, long-term contracts and relief opportunities in the following teaching areas or combinations thereof:

Short-term Contracts & Relief Opportunities

  • Business, VET Teacher – Term 2–4 2026
  • Accounting, Legal Studies – Term 4 2026 and throughout 2027
  • Science Teacher – Term 2, 2026
  • Geography Teacher – Semester 2, 2026
  • Head of Year – Semester 2 (with the possibility of extension)
  • Visual Art – Term 4 2026 to Term 3 2027
  • Any combinations related to these subjects

Positions are available across Term 2 2026 through to 2027.

Position Summary

Secondary teachers at Citipointe Christian College are supportive of the Educational Philosophy of the College and are focused on developing a culture of excellence. They take responsibility for the teaching, learning, assessment and reporting within their subject areas and facilitate positive and productive community relationships. They play a role in student pastoral care, contributing to the wellbeing culture within the secondary context. Secondary teachers are committed to the holistic education of all students and continually improve their teaching techniques and practices.

Requirements

  • Current Queensland College of Teachers registration
  • Written, current Pastor’s reference
  • Academic transcript


Selection Criteria

  • Profess a Christian belief and regularly attend a church fellowship
  • Model Christian living and character
  • Ability to integrate faith and learning in an authentic and engaging manner
  • Minimum Bachelor of Education or equivalent, and/or specialist teaching qualifications
  • Effective teaching practices
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • High degree of technological literacy
  • Prior experience teaching using iPads (preferred)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • Strong organisation and time management skills
