Celebrate Messiah Australia is an interdenominational evangelistic ministry dedicated to bringing the message of Yeshua (Jesus) to the Jewish people. Since 1995, we have partnered with churches across Australia to educate, equip and inspire believers regarding the Jewishness of the Gospel and God’s heart for Israel.
Our outreach workers regularly speak in churches, conferences and events around the country. This role is central to helping make those ministry opportunities happen.
We are seeking a confident, relational and proactive Church Relations Coordinator to help connect our outreach workers with churches across Australia.
The primary focus of this role is to contact churches and secure speaking engagements. This includes both reconnecting with churches that know our ministry and making first contact with churches who may not yet be familiar with our work.
This role requires:
Confidence in making phone calls (including cold calls)
Tenacity and persistence
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Good administration and database skills
The ability to work independently while staying connected to the team
Some churches may take months — even up to two years — before booking a speaker. We are looking for someone who is positive, resilient and committed to building long-term relationships.
Calling new churches to introduce Celebrate Messiah and secure speaking opportunities
Reconnecting with existing church partners to schedule future engagements
Recording all activity accurately in our Salesforce database
Tracking call attempts, conversations and bookings
Communicating with outreach workers and internal staff
Sending follow-up correspondence to churches
Maintaining organised and accurate records
You will:
Have a vibrant and active personal faith in Jesus
Subscribe to Celebrate Messiah’s statement of faith and values
Be in good standing within a congregation of believers
Love people and enjoy building relationships
Be confident, positive and persevering
Have strong administration skills
Have above-beginner computer skills
Be comfortable using (or learning to use) a database system (ie Salesforce)
Ideally have experience in marketing, sales, relationship management or ministry engagement
Training is provided.
Awareness of the Messianic Jewish ministry context is desirable but not essential.
You must be willing to undergo a criminal record check.
This position plays a vital part in helping churches across Australia engage more deeply with the Jewish roots of their faith and God’s purposes for Israel. Through your work, congregations will be educated, believers encouraged, and ministry partnerships strengthened.
