We are seeking a COACH Coordinator to help deliver our Family and Youth COACH Community Mentoring programs. This role is ideal for someone passionate about mentoring, case management, and empowering volunteers to make a meaningful difference in people's lives.

About COACH Community Mentoring

COACH (Creating Opportunities and Casting Hope) is a one-on-one mentoring program that matches trained volunteers with children, young people and adults who are doing it tough. Mentors meet weekly with participants to build relationships, set goals and support positive change over time.

About the role - part time (3 days per week)

Reporting to the Community Mentoring Team Leader, the COACH Coordinator is part of a team responsible for the delivery of the Family and Youth COACH programs, including:

  • Receiving and assessing referrals
  • Participant intake and case management
  • Training and screening new volunteer mentors
  • Matching mentors with suitable participants
  • Providing ongoing supervision to support mentors
  • Maintaining accurate records, case notes, and program data
  • Building strong relationships with referral partners


The role requires some limited evening & weekend work.
About youYou are highly relational, organised and committed to working with vulnerable youth and adults. You bring sound judgement, a strengths-based approach and the ability to support volunteers with care and professionalism.
You will ideally have:

  • Qualifications in social work, youth work, or a related field (or working towards)
  • Experience in case management, youth work or community services
  • Experience working with at-risk or vulnerable clients
  • Strong communication skills, including facilitating training and group discussions
  • The ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team
  • A current Working With Children Check
  • A current driver's licence and access to a vehicle
