ABOUT BETHANY CHRISTIAN CARE
Bethany Christian Care is a not-for-profit aged care provider established in 1949. We have two facilities: The Plains Retirement Village at Eight Mile Plains and Janoah Gardens Retirement Village at Manly West.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Quality Management
- Monitor compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards
- Support internal audit scheduling, completion and follow‑up
- Maintain policies, procedures and forms
- Assist with preparation for external audits
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Risk Management
- Assist with recording and monitoring organisational and resident risks
- Maintain risk registers
- Prepare risk reports for leadership and Board meetings
Feedback & Complaints
- Monitor feedback and complaints to ensure timely follow‑up
- Support open disclosure processes
- Communicate with residents, families and advocates when gathering feedback
Systems & Process Support
- Contribute to process mapping and implementation
- Assist with data analysis, dashboards and reporting
- Participate in quality and workflow improvement projects

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
- Available to work Monday, Thursday, and Friday, 8:30AM to 4:30PM
- Part-time role with the potential to transition into a full‑time position
- Ability to perform the administrative and analytical functions of the role
- Excellent attention to detail
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to analyse data and prepare accurate reports
- Willingness to learn aged care quality and compliance
- Alignment with our Christian mission - this role would suit a practising Christian.

We have two facilities– The Plains Retirement Village at Eight Mile Plains (where the Bethany Christian Care office is located), and Janoah Gardens Retirement Village at Manly West on Brisbane’s bayside.
The Plains comprises a Residential Aged Care Facility of 108 beds, 74 Independent Living Units and 24 Serviced Apartments. Janoah Gardens consists of 84 Independent Living Units, 20 Serviced Apartments and a 36-bed Aged Care Facility.
